Mother's Day and Staycation

I know Mother's Day was over a week ago.... but we have been busy and didn't post.  We spent time with family over the weekend and on Sunday I got a upside down card handed to me by Mason and he stayed in nursery the whole time during  church!  He refused to color but hey, he stayed there.  I also got a Magic Bullet which is awesome for everything in the kitchen.  My sister Chelsey had dinner at her house and we ate then watched a movie and Mason played cars on a race track built by his uncles and dad.  Here are some pictures right before church on Mother's Day (I forget my camera everywhere and hardly get pics!)

Mason more concerned with leaves than pictures
Not such a baby anymore!  Didn't realize how big he is until seeing us hold him!

Later in the week on Friday we had a "Staycation" at Green Valley Ranch to celebrate our 5th Wedding Anniversary.  Mason stayed with Meemo (Grandma Jensen).  It was his first sleep over and first night away from us!  We went to dinner at Terra Verde, a yummy Italian restaurant at GVR, then after dinner walked around The District and did some shopping there then watched a movie in the room.  We were going to go to a movie until we saw how nice the room was (Thanks Wally!!) and wanted to stay in it.  Then Saturday morning we got ready, had breakfast at The Pancake House then went to the pool for an hour until going to Whole Foods to pick up some groceries and go pick up Mason before his nap time.  It was nice to get away for a night and felt like a vacation in the luxury at GVR!  We forgot the camera but here are some fuzzy pictures from my cell phone of the awesome room!
The living room of the suite, the ottoman could fit 3 grown adults!
Chuck in the dining room of the suite.
The entry way to the suite.
The view from the room of the pool and beach below.
The awesome dining room table in the room.
The guest bath.  The master bath was huge with jetted shower, tubs, two separate closets and nice robes including full size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower gel, etc etc.
 The kitchen/bar area.
When we saw how nice the room was Chuck called the front desk to request a late check out, it was like a luxury apartment, wish I could have lived there WITH the maid service forever!
