Beginners

We have a blog now!  We're new to the blogging world and not quite sure what I'm supposed to write about but I hope I remember I have a blog and don't neglect it too bad.  I hope to update every now and then and share our adventures as a family, mainly for journal purposes to print and have some record of what we're up to!

We may do some 'flashback' blogging to document past important events that happened when we weren't members of the blogging universe which I understand is quite vast.

Brief history of our little family: Chuck and I (Meagan) were married on April 21st, 2006, it'll be 5 years next month!!  We met each other in the summer of 2005 and he was quiet enough he balanced me out so we got hitched.  Isn't that how it works?  Anyway, July 27th, 2009 we welcomed Mason, our baby boy to the clan of two Cocker Spaniels and a Siamese cat.  He's now 20 months old and more fun than I ever imagined.  In May 2010 we bought a house and moved to Henderson, just a few miles down the road from our first house.  Chuck and I both work full time; he works at Credit Union 1 as an accountant where he has been for almost 5 years and I'm an Associate Director at a company called Chrysalis where I have been for about 8 years.  Mason stays with his Grandma during the day while we are at work and although we are pretty sure he is self-sufficient enough to care for himself, child laws prohibit us from leaving him home alone!  Kidding, kidding.

Forward to today where Chuck is in the middle of completing his Master's Degree in some Accounting hoopla, I don't know the technical name of this degree.  Chuck got his Bachelors in the Spring of 2010 from DeVry University.  That requires that after working all day he goes to class or does work online in the evenings while I try to keep our house in order and play with Mason!

Here is a current picture of Mason, who knows our world revolves around him and uses it to his benefit!
