Trying To Tire a Twenty Month Old

How do you tire out a twenty month old?  There are lots of ways..... these are Mason's favorites:

Coloring

Eating snacks (first ice cream cone of the Summer!)  He just laughed at it before eating it.

Going to the Dunes

Practicing the piano

Chasing him

Reading

Playing dress-up in Daddy's shoes

Throwing balls

Playing with tools

Playing trucks

Playing cars (different than trucks!)

Pretend cooking

Playing with other kids (cousin Gavin)

Riding his truck, safety first with the hard hat on!

 

 

If all else fails, SLIDES will wear him out!  Then it's time for a bath, kissing Darth Vader (the dog) goodnight and showing Daddy his pajamas before milk, rocking, music and going to sleep.  Even though he's active we are grateful Mason sleeps a sound 12 hours every night!  Just wish he napped longer than an hour during the day!
