Father's Day 2011

Father's Day started over a week ago for us.  We had a bbq last  at my mom's for Wally for Father's Day, unfortunately I always forget my camera.  Mason had fun playing with his cousins from Reno by running through a whale sprinkler toy in the lawn.  Then yesterday we had my dad and his family over for his Father's Day for a bbq at my house.  Today, we celebrated with my awesome husband Chuck for a little bit after church then went to his dad's, Papa Perry's for dinner.  Below are some pics from Father's Day and this weekend:
Mason and Padme the cat in an ottoman Chuck pushed them around the house in
He was telling Chuck "again, again!" but his arms were tired from pushing him
Mason's favorite activity is to 'run'.  He goes outside and just runs down the driveway
Still running, he loves it, too bad its getting pretty hot so he won't be able to do this much longer
Chuck and Mason on Father's Day, Mason made that lovely tie at nursery last week, he keeps asking Chuck to take off his work or other church ties to put that one on....
Chuck reading his Father's Day card
Chuck got a custom made "World's best father" shirt under Darth Vader
Mason refusing to change out of church clothes because he was too busy playing cars
Papa Perry opening a box of treats from Harry and David's
Papa showing Mason the shirt we had made for Father's Day
The shirt, the story is Papa always calls his grandsons "fishing buddies" so we found a site that made shirts custom to how your family members look and if I do say so, the Papa on the shirt looks just like him!  Overall we had a fun week of celebrating all the fathers in our lives.  I also want to thank Chuck for being such a great dad to Mason, they are best friends and Mason just loves him so much.  Its fun to watch them play together or read together.  Chuck takes over a lot of responsibilities with the child raising since we both work full time and I appreciate all the diaper changes, washing of dirty baby clothes and preparing the nightly sippy cup of milk and getting the jammies ready after baths he does ;-)  We love you!
