Easter Weekend. We stayed home more than usual this week, I took Thursday off and Chuck Friday off to stay home with Mason while my mom was in the hospital with Vanessa. Luckily she got out of the hospital Friday afternoon after her newly diagnosed diabetes was under control. On Saturday morning we went (early) to our ward breakfast and Easter egg hunt. We went half hour before it started since I was up picking up our bountiful baskets (awesome!) and when I got home Mason was ready to go. We went and let him play at the park, had some pancakes then let him find a couple eggs before he got cranky. We now know he probably wasn't feeling well. He has an ear infection and cold. I have a ruptured ear drum, even though I took antibiotics for two weeks they weren't strong enough. I was shocked no one else got sick but now poor Mason is. Saturday he took a long nap (3 hours!) after the ward party which was probably an indication he was sick looking back then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Jensen's for dinner and egg hunt. We kept it simple this year with Vanessa being diagnosed with diabetes they have been spending a lot of time shopping for supplies and visiting the local pharmacy and learning how to track, test and do everything! Sunday morning we woke up (and really realized we were sick) and went to Grandpa and Grandma Wiley's ward to see Phillip receive the Priesthood and Sheridan graduate from primary who both turned 12 recently. We left immediately after and went to a Walgreens take care clinic in our Sunday clothes to get antibiotics and medication for me and Maosn. Due to being sick I got NO pictures of Mason in his Easter clothes. We went home and had long naps and let the medicine kick in then went to Grandpa and Grandma Smith's house for Easter dinner and ANOTHER Easter egg hunt! Then Monday (today) we all stayed home, I got worse and Mason is still sick although he's playing and running like he's fine so Chuck stayed home to take care of us all. I think we started Mason on antibiotics fast enough that he didn't get too bad, I however, get to grow another eardrum and am deaf in my left ear. Which is kind of like being under water or the volume being down. We are getting better, luckily Chuck hasn't got sick yet..... Here are some pictures from Easter weekend.

At the ward Easter breakfast in his cute Hurley outfit from Grandpa Wiley.
Going down the slides with Dad
Finding candy during the egg hunt, he was ready to go by this point...
Uncle Carson and Bieanca helping Mason find eggs.
He got the hang of it quick!
Vanessa back home! Stable blood sugars and back to photography!
Mason inspecting his loot, he liked a giant egg with a helicopter in it!
Not that he needed more baskets, he got one from us and Great Grandma Seki and Grandpa and Grandma Smith and toys and other things from all his other grandparents but in ours we put: some plushy animals from Seki, candy, Diego bubbles, Thomas the Train DVD, Magnadoodle board and some Diego cars. This kid is spoiled!
Mason went to the wall and tells Chuck "1,2,3, Go!" but takes off before saying Go, giving him the advantage. He races all day with Braden who my mom babysits and loves to run.
I think he fell down or was just sitting in the grass, not sure.
Easter Sunday at Grandma and Grandma Smith's
He got to find eggs but I think liked to watch his cousins more.
Everyone looking for eggs, Mason was pretty cranky and not feeling well but loved all the bicycles to ride.
Mason with cousins Brayden, Logan and Coltyn, all boys on the Smith side so far! One is on the way (Brayden's parents, Ashley and Jason are expecting) so maybe they will get a girl!
That was our Easter weekend! Now on to recovering and getting us all back healthy again! We have another big week, this weekend is Chuck's 29th birthday and Vanessa's Sweet 16 party! Plus we haven't celebrated our 5 year wedding Anniversary which was last Thursday, with everything going on we haven't thought about it yet! April is a crazy month with so may birthdays, a holiday and anniversary!
